The FVT-4000 is used to host up to 10 media converters. It supports Ethernet, Fast ethernet, gigabit Ethernet, Multi and Singlemode Fibre media Connections. All converters are individually secured into the chassis and can be hot-swapped for maximum connection reliability. The dual hot-swappable power supplies ensure continued network operation. The Chassis is a standard 19 inch rack mountable size that easily fits into a server rack.
