Mayflex Champions Customer Service Excellence

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and IP physical security solutions distributor, has awarded one of its supplier partners a ‘Platinum Team Champion’ award’. DPD is a leading provider of parcel delivery services across the UK and Europe and has been Mayflex’s partner of choice for providing parcel delivery services for over 8 years. During this time, Mayflex’s Customer Service Team has worked in close partnership with DPD to ensure a seamless door to door service for Mayflex customers. 

Maggie Foley, Customer Service Manager at Mayflex comments: “We wanted to take the relationship to a different level in recognition of the service we have received from DPD over the years and came up with the idea of a bi-monthly ‘Platinum Team Champion’ award. By doing so, we are recognising the level of customer service that the Mayflex Customer Services Team receives from DPD. At Mayflex, we value people who go that extra mile for our customers and it was only right to do the same for such a crucial service provider.”

Maggie continues: “We were pleased to present our first award to Chantelle Daly, Customer Champion, who has repeatedly been recognised for her incredible support of Mayflex over the past two months. It is very important for a company like Mayflex to have the best possible support systems in place to enable us to offer our customers a reliable and efficient service.”

Chantelle, accompanied by Johanne Spoors, Acting Platinum Manager and Elaine Herniman, Strategic Account Manager from DPD, attended a luncheon at Mayflex’s head office, where she was presented with a bottle of Champagne and gift vouchers by Maggie Foley and Caroline Allen, Customer Services Administrator at Mayflex.

Elaine Herniman from DPD, comments: “This is a fantastic achievement for Chantelle as she has only been in her current role since October 2007. We are very proud that she has been recognised for her commitment to providing a key account customer such as Mayflex, with a highly commendable service.”
