Brand-Rex SPMax Attachment Cords

Attachment Cords are used to connect the Scanner to the patch panels. These cords are supplied in either 1.5 metre or 2.5 metre lengths. The type of cord required is dependent on the type of patch panel to be connected to. CAT6Plus 24 port UTP/STP and GigaPlus 48 port (1U) UTP patch panels use Group B cords and all other patch panels use Group A cords. Group A is a flat ribbon cable with two 26- pin connectors on each end. Group B is a flat ribbon cable with one end using a 26-pin connector and at the other end, the cable is split and two 14-pin connectors are used. The 14-pin connectors are labelled A and B and must be connected to the corresponding connector on the patch panel.
